Meet the Photographer Behind Intention Studios

Choosing a photographer isn't just about finding someone with a camera. It's about finding someone who truly sees you.

Someone who understands that the most powerful portraits aren't created by chance—they're created with intention.

For me, every photoshoot begins long before the camera is lifted.

I want to understand the person standing in front of me. Not just what they do, but who they are. What drives them. What they want their photographs to communicate long after the session is over.

Because the best portraits don't simply show what someone looks like. They reveal something deeper.

Throughout my career, one compliment has stayed with me more than any other: "Nobody has ever seen me the way you do."

To me, that's the greatest compliment a photographer can receive. It's also the reason Intention Studios exists.

I Don't Create Hundreds of Photographs

I Create The Ones You'll Never Forget.

One thing has always frustrated me about modern photography. Too often, success is measured by the number of images delivered rather than the quality of the photographs themselves. Hundreds of frames. Hours of continuous shooting. Then searching afterwards in the hope that a few images stand out.

That has never been my approach.

Every portrait I create is intentional. Every light is placed with purpose. Every shadow carefully shaped. Every expression thoughtfully guided.

Rather than creating hundreds of photographs and hoping for a handful of great ones, I focus on crafting a collection of portraits that each deserve to exist.

Because true craftsmanship isn't measured by quantity. It's measured by excellence.

The Portrait You've Always Known Was There.

I've always been fascinated by the craftsmanship behind portrait photography.

The challenge of sculpting every face differently. Understanding how light reveals character. How a subtle change in posture transforms an entire portrait. How confidence is communicated without saying a single word.

Much of my inspiration comes from classic Hollywood portraiture, where every detail was carefully considered and every image was treated like a work of art. That philosophy still shapes every session at Intention Studios today.

Photography isn't simply about documenting a moment.

It's about creating something timeless.

My Philosophy

My Work Begins Before I Pick Up The Camera.

The most meaningful reaction I receive isn't, "These photos are beautiful."

It's hearing someone say, "I've never seen myself like this before." Or, "No one has ever captured me this way."

Those moments remind me why I do this.

A great portrait doesn't create a different person. It reveals the person who has been there all along.

When people truly recognize themselves in a photograph, something changes. They stand a little taller. They carry themselves differently. They see themselves with the same clarity the people closest to them already do.

That is what I hope every client takes away from their experience at Intention Studios.

Who I Work With

I Photograph People Who Value Excellence.

The people I work with have one thing in common. They care deeply about quality.

Whether they're entrepreneurs building a company, performers stepping onto a stage, executives leading teams, artists creating their next masterpiece, or individuals investing in timeless portraits, they understand the value of exceptional craftsmanship.

They don't choose photography because they need more pictures. They choose photography because they understand that certain moments—and certain images—deserve to be created with intention.

If you're looking for the fastest photoshoot or hundreds of photographs to sort through afterwards, I'm probably not the right photographer for you.

But if you're looking for portraits that feel timeless, intentional and unmistakably yours, I'd be honored to create them with you.

Every photographer has a camera. But not every photographer has a philosophy.

At Intention Studios, every decision is intentional—from the first conversation we have to the final image you receive.

I don't believe in rushing sessions or relying on luck. I believe extraordinary portraits come from careful observation, thoughtful direction and uncompromising craftsmanship.

When you work with me, you're not simply booking a photoshoot. You're investing in an experience designed to create portraits that remain just as meaningful years from now as they are today.
